The Pencombe Young Farmers’ Club meets on a Wednesday at 7.30pm, and new members are always welcome.
Open to anyone aged 10 to 26, Pencombe YFC proves that “you don’t have to be a farmer to be a Young Farmer”. Being part of the club gives young people the chance to get involved in an amazing variety of activities and competitions — from cookery, needlework, stock judging and sheep shearing to sports such as volleyball and tug of war.
Pencombe YFC is also a fantastic social club, offering countless opportunities to meet new people, make friends across the county and beyond, and take part in events at local, regional, and national levels. Over the years, the club has also raised significant funds for local charities through its own events and initiatives.
